So far as I understand there have been no big settlements of Romans in this article (mainly just garrisons), so the level of individuals that owned slaves here appears to have been rather reduced. The later Germanic settlers didn't appear to have been too aggressive either, so the possibility for many (Latin speaking) slaves was also rather low.giv
